First reported 1788 Hottingerkaart (H.J. Versfelt, De Hottinger-atlas van Noord- en Oost-Nederland. 1773-1794)
Only one of an original five capstones is left of D36, but it still holds its ground jutting out into the surrounding landscape. It sits, a few metres from its twin D37, in a peaceful grove of oak trees in the fields just outside Valthe.
