D13's nickname, Stemberg (Voice Mount) refers to the sounds reputedly heard by a rockhunter when he knocked on the burial mound that houses it in 1730. When it was subsequently excavated it revealed a unique form, with four stone steps leading down into the chamber. It remains in its original mound surrounded by trees in the middle of the quiet village of Eext.
